Events

The events feature allows site administrators to add church events to the website.

This is a simple feature that can be easily integrated with a third-party event system for registration (e.g. Eventbrite).

Creating an Event

1. Go to /node/add/event to add a new event page.

2. After saving you will see page similar to the sample event page below.

The tag links in the sidebar will filter events by tag on the main events landing page.

Event page & block

On install, a link is provided to the "Events & Programs" page underneath the "Pages" rollover.

In addition to the events landing page, a block is also provided that can be embedded anywhere on the site. By default this block appears on the homepage.

The Events page and block are both Views which can be customized at /admin/structure/views.
