Basic block

The standard Drupal install profile comes with a basic custom block that can be added to any page.

Creating a basic block

1. Go to /block/add/basic to create a basic block.

Create basic block page

To embed a script or iframe you will want to use the "Embed HTML" format.

2. After saving the block you should see something similar to the block below (when embedded in the sidebar region).
